I have been fortunate enough to travel to many countries in the last 12 years since founding my non-profit and for profit, Bajalia International Group. The people I have met in each of these places have had a dramatic impact on my life and play a huge role in how Bajalia operates. From that first stamp in my passport I have never been the same, and have never better understood how connected we are to each other.

Oh the places I have gone – Afghanistan, India, Swaziland, Uganda, Rwanda, Kenya, United Arab Emirates, Pakistan, Thailand, China, Palestine, Italy, UK, Canada, Israel, Haiti, Turkey, Jamaica, Madagascar, South Africa, and the country of my parents birth Palestine.  As the world gets more and more violent for women I don’t see my passport or me staying still. My favorite place? That’s easy, it’s the country I am in at the time. I am a citizen of the world and I take that citizenship very seriously.
